With today’s strict
environmental regulations, any
business that generates used oil
or other waste products must use
an environmental company that
properly disposes of these
products from cradle to grave.
Once oil has been used, it can
be collected, recycled, and used
over and over again. An
estimated 380 million gallons of
used oil are recycled each year.
Recycled used oil can sometimes
be used again for the same job
or can take on a completely
different task. |

USED OIL COLLECTION
Mid States Oil employs a
well-maintained fleet of
collection trucks to transport
the used oil from the customer's
tank to one of Mid States with
the automatic frequency
scheduled pick up or a phone
call to our dispatcher. Mid
States Oil is ready and waiting
to service your needs. With two
processing facilities ready to
receive your used oil. Mid
States will analytically test
all oil received at our
facilities and according to the
facility's waste analysis plan,
devise a path for your used oil
to be processed into a usable
product. The processing
technology reduces the water
content to a level of 2% or less
and removes most particulates.
The resultant is a product that
can then be marketed to
industrial burners, as a
cost-effective alternative to
virgin fuel oil. |

OILY WASTEWATER COLLECTION
Oily wastewater, generated by
Mid States Oil customers, are
collected and transported to a
Mid States facility. Before
unloading, the oily wastewater
is analytically tested for the
required parameters, processed,
and the oil is recovered. This
is done by using a combination
of common wastewater treatment
technologies. The remaining
waste water is disposed of
through a regulated facility. |

USED OIL FILTER COLLECTION
Mid States Oil dispatches a
fleet of box trucks for the
collection of used oil filters.
Specialized trucks are used to
collect used oil filters that
are placed in drums provided by
Mid States Oil. The frequency of
collections is determined by Mid
States and you the customer. Mid
States Oil uses a ten ton Metal
crusher to crush the oil
filters, removing the remaining
oil from the filter. The
remaining steel is then crushed
into 100 pound cubes, and then
marketed as scrap metal to the
steel industry. |
